In 2024, after being impacted by a wave of layoffs, I started Simple Syrup as a personal design studio and creative experiment. I handled everything from branding and logo development to marketing concepts and visual testing, using it as a sandbox to push ideas and redefine how I presented myself creatively. The goal was to differentiate both the studio and my own voice through raw, tactile mockups that placed the logo into real-world contexts like packaging, street textures, objects, and human skin. These pieces explore how a simple mark can live across unexpected surfaces, blending graphic design with physical environments, and served as a way to rebuild momentum while creating something distinctly my own.
