"A Girl Is A Drug" EP Cover

For this project, I was given photography and creative direction from Parris built around the EP "A Girl Is a Drug", with the core concept being her captured inside a pill capsule. From there, I designed and composited the final visuals, transforming the original studio shot into a surreal product-style moment by placing her inside a translucent capsule and dialing in lighting, reflections, scale, and color so it felt glossy, dimensional, and real. A big part of the process was making the capsule feel tangible while keeping her pose and energy intact, balancing softness with intensity and pushing the red and pink tones to match the emotional weight of the concept. The result turns a simple portrait into a bold visual metaphor, blending beauty, vulnerability, and pop surrealism into a striking EP cover moment.
